I collected many sound medical advices for all of you, fellow developers. I included the references and sources of the health and medical tips, too. Feel free to check them and contact me if you find any misinformation or wrong statements.

Take regular breaks ๐Ÿ”—

We - programmers - often spend hours coding, which can lead to eye strain, fatigue, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Take short breaks every 20-30 minutes to stretch, walk around, or simply rest your eyes.

Maintain good posture ๐Ÿ”—

Sitting for long periods can lead to back pain and other musculoskeletal problems. Invest in an ergonomic chair and desk setup that supports good posture.

Stay hydrated ๐Ÿ”—

Dehydration can lead to fatigue, headaches, and decreased cognitive function. Keep a water bottle nearby and drink plenty of water throughout the day.

Eat healthy ๐Ÿ”—

A balanced diet is essential for maintaining energy levels and overall health. Focus on fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and lean protein.

Get enough sleep ๐Ÿ”—

Sleep deprivation can impair cognitive function, creativity, and problem-solving skills. Aim for 7-8 hours of sleep per night.

Exercise regularly ๐Ÿ”—

Physical activity can improve mood, reduce stress, and boost energy levels. Aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise most days of the week.

Eat less cocoa and chocolate ๐Ÿ”—

Cocoa and chocolate have a high percentage of Cadmium. Cadmium is carcinogenic if eaten too much. So, we must eat less of the food that contain Cadmium.
