Why Another Hugo Theme?

I tried some themes such as PaperMod , Ananke , mini , Anubis and Whisper . Every theme lack in some aspect, so I decided to create a new theme for my own use case.

Name of the theme 🔗

I named the theme KMT which is the name of Egypt - my home - in the ancient egyptian language. I develop the theme for Hugo as open source on GitHub , GitLab and Codeberg .

• easy-to-copy link to specific heading/title
• buttons to share posts into LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Telegram and WhatsApp.
• support Tags and Categories (both). Use what you want.
• links to your social media profiles in the footer.
• add the year when the website/blog launched, and show the current year next to it in the footer’s copyright notice.
